- Read for class on Wednesday, April 28th
**During the AP weeks, starting May 3rd, you will all be working on an individual project related to physics. I will discuss this more in class, but you can find the information for the project below.**
Our final week together (May 17 – 21st) we will investigate interesting topics in physics such as lenses and mirrors, magnetism, relativity, quantum mechanics and much more!

Final Project
What interests you?
Step 1: Project Proposal
Write a proposal describing a topic that interests you. The topic could be something that we have covered in class that you would like to learn more about, or a topic that we have not touched on. I really want you to research and present on something that you are passionate about that can be related to physics. Essentially you need to pick a topic and then figure out the physics behind it, because just about everything is physics related.
The proposal should include a description of your topic and reasons for choosing it, and a list of sources (at least 3, including 1 non-internet) you plan to use to research the topic.
The typed, half page proposal is due Monday, May 3/4 (depending on your AP’s).
Step 2: Research and Writing
Research your topic using the library, the Internet, and any other sources you might find. Write a 3-4-page paper that covers your findings. The paper should be double-spaced and should include a work-cited page that follows the MLA format.
The paper is due on Friday, May 14.
Step 3: Presentation – Informal
The presentations should be 5 minutes in length and cover what you learned in your research.
The presentations will occur on May 17th.
